Welcome to my website. I am a London-based artist working within a figurative tradition. My portraits, nudes and still lifes are characterised by strong mark making that seeks to capture the energy, inner life and movement of my subjects.

In my paintings I use the the texture of the oil paint over the surface of the canvas to help create the sense of form and structure. In my drawings I use the subtle shading of charcoal and pencil - with their combination of gentleness and depth - to define the human face and body in ways that seek to be convincing and seductive.
